The new functionality guarantees a significantly improved search experience, making it faster and simpler for users to find the media title they are looking for. Additionally, users now have the ability to create new media titles independently, eliminating the need to wait for the administration team to process requests.

Our intuitive administration controls ensure that when a new media title closely resembles or matches an existing entry in our database, all validated data seamlessly migrates to the newly created title. This ensures that users consistently enjoy precise metrics and reliable information.

For instance, if a user adds a new media entry, such as 'The Bristol Post,' which already exists in our database as 'The Post (Bristol)', we guarantee that all audited data seamlessly transfers to the newly created title, eliminating any data gaps. Furthermore, our team can include it as an alternative title, ensuring that the correct one consistently appears in all future search results.

Automation and data recollection

To improve report consistency and increase automation, Ace Media has enhanced its database capabilities. Whenever an offline media outlet is uploaded to a report, we will automatically assign the appropriate media type, market and scope.

When a URL is uploaded to a report, a user may configure these metrics manually. This contributes to Ace Media’s community data, which remains accessible for future uploads; increasing automation and reducing repetition.

We’re delighted to introduce smart media classification, which offers a more robust and streamlined approach to handling multiple media types and measurement metrics.

Smart media classification automates, refines and enhances the classification and categorisation of media, helping users create reports with greater speed and efficiency, whilst consistently delivering clean data!

The newly refined categorisation and classification of media looks as follows:

Whenever a URL is uploaded from a recognised newsletter, digital publication, or podcast host, Ace Media will automatically classify the media type.

Improved data handling for these platforms also helps prevent the display of inaccurate data, whilst ensuring the correct unit of measurement is accessible to the user.

Until now, our proprietary algorithm has relied upon Alexa web rankings; a service which officially sunset on 15 December 2022.

As part of this initial phase, we have teamed with the world's foremost web traffic intelligence providers since 2008, SEMrush, to power our web traffic data estimates.

SEMrush is widely considered to be the best-in-class where it comes to web traffic analysis. Having only recently made their data resources available to third-party solutions, Ace Media is one of the first in the industry to be powered by them.

Users will be provided with the opportunity to alter the traffic reporting period between daily [recommended] and monthly.

Each offline media outlet is individually categorised by country. Look out for the flag icon that appears alongside the title to determine the country of publication.

Home territory priority

Ace Media will automatically prioritise media outlets within your home territory; appearing first in the list of search results. Those outside your home territory will appear further down the list.
